Air Products to build hydrogen facility in India

Air Products has signed a long-term agreement with Bharat Petroleum Corp. Ltd. (BPCL; Mumbai) to build, own, and operate industrial gas production facilities at Kochi, Kerala State, India. The complex will provide hydrogen, synthetic gas, nitrogen, and oxygen for BPCLâ€™s refinery and proposed petrochemical complex at Kochi. Air Products says the facilities will support Indiaâ€™s largest outsourced hydrogen requirement and will be the companyâ€™s first hydrogen facility in India.
