Air Products expands in Chile to supply local markets

Air Products’ Indura subsidiary has opened an 84 ton/day industrial gas plant at Puerto Varas, Chile, which will produce liquid oxygen, nitrogen, and argon. The new facility will include a cylinder filling system that will serve the local burgeoning aquaculture market. The facility will also supply local metalworking, health, and food industries. The company says the plant is the world’s southernmost industrial gas plant serving the merchant market.
