Air Liquide to Buy Home Health-Care Firm in Spain

Air Liquide has agreed to acquire Gasmedi (Madrid), the third-biggest player in Spain’s home health-care sector. “This transaction would enable Air Liquide to gain full control of Gasmedi for an enterprise value of €330 million,” Air Liquide says. The proposed deal is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2012. Gasmedi provides home health-care services to 125,000 patients across 14 of Spain’s 17 regions, Air Liquide says.
