Air Liquide to Buy Chemical Management Business

Air Liquide Electronics, a subsidiary of Air Liquide Holdings, says it has signed an agreement to acquire the “major part” of the assets of the chemical management division of Edwards Vacuum, for an undisclosed amount. The deal is expected to close by the end of June. Edwards’ chemical management division manufactures equipment for semiconductor producers as well as OEMs and will “complement Air Liquide Electronics’ position in the high purity fluid equipment and installation sector, particularly in the U.S. and in Asia,” Air...
