Reports: China sets rare earths export quota

China has set its rare earth export quota for the second half of 2013 at 15,500 m.t., including 13,821 m.t. of light rare earth metals and 1,679 m.t for heavy rare earth metals, according to a report from Chinese news agency Xinhua quoting a statement from the Ministry of Commerce (Beijing). The quota for the second half of the year, when added to the quota established for the first half of the year, the total comes to 31,001...
