Lonza cuts jobs

Lonza says it will cut 400 jobs at its Visp, Switzerland site within two years. The company currently employs about 2,890 people at Visp. Lonza also initiated a review of its corporate functions structure, to optimize and adapt service offerings and realize savings, which will lead to a further 100 job losses worldwide over the same period, Lonza says.
