Eastman Chemical reported fourth-quarter net income up 44%, to $95 million ($1.12/share), including special items. Sales rose 1%, to $1.75 billion. The coatings, adhesives, specialty polymers, and inks division reported operating income up 56%, to $53 million, on sales up 6%, to $343 million.
