KIT, Deutsche Nanoschicht establish joint laboratory for superconducting thin films

Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT; Karlsruhe, Germany) and Deutsche Nanoschicht (Rheinbach, Germany) have announced that they are to establish joint laboratory at KIT's Institute for Technical Physics in early 2015. The partners say that they will optimize and customize superconducting thin films at the laboratory, which will be supervised by Bernhard Holzapfel, professor at the institute.
