Details of the upcoming agreement are not available. The project could form part of a recently announced steam cracker project at Alexandria, Egypt, under which Egyptian Ethylene and Derivatives Co. is constructing a 460,000-m.t./year ethylene plant and a 20,000-m.t./year butadiene extraction unit.
