Chemical Week Magazine :: New Construction Projects Uhde Confirms PVC Contract11:17 AM MDT | July 25, 2007 | Chemical Week Editorial Staff Uhde confirms that it has been awarded a contract by Lukoil Chemical Group (Moscow) to build a 300,000-m.t./year suspension-grade polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plant at Kalush, Ukraine. The unit will be built for Lukoil’s Karpatnaftochim (Kalush, Ukraine) subsidiary for completion in 2009. The plant will use Vinnolit technology. Uhde’s scope of services will include basic and detailed engineering, supply of equipment, supervision of construction, and commissioning.
