UOP Licenses Propane Dehydro Technology to China

UOP has licensed its propane dehydrogenation technology to Zhejiang Shaoxing Sanjin Petrochemical Co., a wholly owned subsidiary of Zhejiang Fuling Holding Group (Shaoxing, China). The new unit will use UOPâ€™s C3 Oleflex technology to produce 450,000 m.t./year of propylene. It will be located at Zhejiang Fulingâ€˜s facility in Shaoxing. Start-up is expected in 2013.
