Toyo Engineering awarded Chandra Asri olefins expansion

Toyo Engineering has been awarded a contract by Chandra Asri Petrochemical (Jakarta) to expand production capacity of Chandra Asri’s naphtha cracker at Cilegon, Indonesia. Chandra Asri says it will invest a total of $380 million for the project, which will increase ethylene capacity from 600,000 m.t./year to 860,000 m.t./year and propylene capacity from 320,000 m.t./year to 470,000 m.t./year. Capacity for pyrolysis gasoline will increase by 120,000 m.t./year, to 400,000 m.t./year, and capacity for mixed C4s will rise by 95,000 m.t./year, to 315,000 m.t./year...
