Chemical Week Magazine :: New Construction Projects Toyo Engineering Awarded Contract by DSM-Sinopec Caprolactam JV6:02 AM MST | February 17, 2012 Toyo Engineering says it has been awarded a contract by DSM Nanjing Chemical (Nanjing, China), a joint venture between DSM and Sinopec, to build a 200,000-m.t./year caprolactam plant at Nanjing. The project will double caprolactam capacity at the site. DSM Nanjing Chemical will invest about $300 million for the project, which is scheduled to be completed in the third quarter of the fiscal year ending March 31, 2014, Toyo says. DSM announced the project initially in 2010. Toyo will provide engineering and procurement services, and manage construction on a lump-sum...
