Toyo Engineering Awarded Contract by DSM-Sinopec Caprolactam JV

Toyo Engineering says it has been awarded a contract by DSM Nanjing Chemical (Nanjing, China), a joint venture between DSM and Sinopec, to build a 200,000-m.t./year caprolactam plant at Nanjing. The project will double caprolactam capacity at the site. DSM Nanjing Chemical will invest about $300 million for the project, which is scheduled to be completed in the third quarter of the fiscal year ending March 31, 2014, Toyo says.
