ThyssenKrupp to supply fertilizer plant to Hungary

ThyssenKrupp’s industrial solutions group says Nitrogénmüvek, a Hungarian producer of fertilizers, has awarded it a fertilizer plant contract. ThyssenKrupp will deliver a granulation plant with a capacity for 1,550 m.t./day of ammonium nitrate (AN) or 1,960 m.t./day of calcium AN (CAN). The unit is scheduled to start operations in fall 2016 at Pétfürdö, Hungary, which is located 100 kilometers southwest of Budapest.
