Chemical Week Magazine :: New Construction Projects Tecnimont Signs LDPE Plant Contract with Slovnaft7:26 AM MDT | April 27, 2012 Maire Tecnimont has been awarded a €204-million ($268 million) contract to build a low-density polyethylene (LDPE) plant for Slovnaft (Bratislava, Slovakia) at Bratislava. The new 220,000-m.t./year plant, LDPE 4, forms part of a €300-million investment program at Slovnaft. It will replace seven existing LDPE lines at the site, increasing capacity there by 42,000 m.t./year overall. Construction is scheduled to start next year with completion planned for...
