Stamicarbon to revamp and expand urea facility in Romania

Azomure┼č plans a major revamp of its urea manufacturing complex at Tirgu-Mures, Romania. The company has been working with Czech contractor Chemoproject on the project. Chemoproject has awarded a license and process design contract to Stamicarbon (Sittard, Netherlands), the licensing subsidiary of Maire Tecnimont. Stamicarbon will revamp the existing urea melt plant and deliver a new granulation facility at the site.
