Chemical Week Magazine :: New Construction Projects Sinochem Receives Approval for Quanzhou Complex5:34 AM MDT | August 31, 2012 Sinochem says it has received Chinese government approval for a previously announced refinery and petrochemical complex at Quanzhou, Fujian Province. The project, first announced in 2005, was given final approval by the National Development and Reform Commission (Beijing) earlier this month. Sinochem Quanzhou was incorporated three years ago for the proejct. It is building a 240,000-bbl/day refinery and a fluid catalytic cracker unit with capacity for 2.4 million m.t./year.
