Chemical Week Magazine :: New Construction Projects Saudi Mining Company Plans Fertilizer Complex in Jordan6:58 AM MDT | November 4, 2011 Mining company Al Hamdi Group (Jeddah, Saudi Arabia) plans to build a JD1-billion ($1.4 billion) phosphoric acid and fertilizer complex in Jordan, says company chairman Abdul Karim Al Hamdi, who signed an agreement recently with the Jordan Investment Board (Amman). Construction will start in the second quarter of next year and the complex will have initial capacity for 310,000 m.t./year of phosphoric acid.
