Sasol Proceeds with Hike in MIBK Capacity

Sasol has decided to go ahead with previously announced plans to double capacity for methyl isobutyl ketone (MIBK) at Sasolburg, South Africa, to 60,000 m.t./year (CW, Dec. 21/28, 2005, p. 14). The expansion is expected to come onstream in the first half of 2009, Sasol says. It will use Sasol technology.
