Saipem awarded contract to expand Versalis’s EPDM production in Italy

Saipem (Milan) has been awarded an engineering, procurement, and construction contract for an expansion of synthetic rubber capacity at the Versalis (Milan) complex at Ferrara, Italy, worth approximately €200 million ($275 million). Versalis outlined the expansion in April last year as part of the company’s transformation plan. Saipem will take charge of project management, detailed engineering, supply of materials and components, construction, installation, and precommissioning.
