Sabic Forms Polystyrene Manufacturing JV in Turkey

Sabic says it has formed a 70-30 polystyrene (PS) joint venture with Baser Petrokimya (Istanbul). The jv will take over all of Baser’s PS assets, which include a 40,000-m.t./year plant at Adana, Turkey. Financial terms were not disclosed but Sabic says that the plant is worth $22 million.
