SNF Floerger to build acrylamide facility at Lukoil site in Russia

Lukoil (Moscow) says that SNF Floerger (Andr├ęzieux, France) has agreed to build acrylamide and polyacrylamide plants at the production site of Saratovorgsintez (Saratov, Russia), a Lukoil subsidiary. SNF will implement the project in two phases. In the first phase, units with capacity for 50,000 m.t./year of acrylamide and 30,000 m.t./year of polyacrylamide will be built, and they are expected to start up in the first quarter of 2016; in the second phase, acrylamide capacity will be expanded to 60,000 m.t./year.
