SNF Floerger to build acrylamide facility at Lukoil site in Russia

Lukoil (Moscow) says that SNF Floerger (Andrézieux, France) has agreed to build acrylamide and polyacrylamide plants at the production site of Saratovorgsintez (Saratov, Russia), a Lukoil subsidiary. SNF will implement the project in two phases. In the first phase, units with capacity for 50,000 m.t./year of acrylamide and 30,000 m.t./year of polyacrylamide will be built, and they are expected to start up in the first quarter of 2016; in the second phase, acrylamide capacity will be expanded to 60,000 m.t./year.
