Chemical Week Magazine :: New Construction Projects SK Energy to Invest $1.4 Billion for P-Xylene Plant in Korea1:23 PM MDT | May 18, 2012 SK Innovation (Seoul) says its refining business, SK Energy, will invest about won1.62 trillion ($1.4 billion) to build a para -xylene plant at the company’s refining complex at Incheon, Korea. The company’s board made the investment decision at the end of April. The plant will have capacity for 1.3 million m.t./year of p -xylene, and it is expected to become operational in the second half of 2014.
