Rosneft’s Tianjin refining and petchems complex revived

Rosneft (Moscow) and CNPC (Beijing) are seeking to revive their multibillion-dollar refinery and petrochemical project at Tianjin, China, that was first announced in 2010. Rosneft’s president and chairman, Igor Sechin, held talks recently with China’s deputy premier and member of the Politburo, Wang Qishan, on a range of subjects including the Tianjin project.
