Rosneft mulls chloroprene unit in Armenia, may collaborate with Pirelli

Rosneft (Moscow) is considering partnering with synthetic rubber–maker Nairit (Yerevan, Armenia) to manufacture chloroprene rubber at the Nairit, Armenia, complex, which was idled in 2010 because of declining profitability and high debt. Rosneft expressed an interest earlier this year in partnering with Nairit.
