Rosneft Selects Ineos for Nakhodka Petchem Complex

Vostochnaya Neftekhimicheskaya Co. (Eastern Petochemicals; Nakhodka, Russia), a subsidiary of Rosneft (Moscow), has selected Ineos Technologies’ Innovene G, Innovene S, and Innovene PP processes for a previously announced petrochemical complex at Nakhodka. Eastern Petrochemicals is building a complex that will also include a 3.4-million m.t./year oil refinery. Downstream units will have capacity to produce 1.4 million m.t./year of ethylene, more than 600,000 m.t./year of propylene, 230,000 m.t./year of benzene, and 200,000 m.t./year of butadiene.
