Qatar selects Univation and Dow technologies for Al Sejeel complex...

Qatar Petroleum (QP; Doha) and Qatar Petrochemical Co. (Qapco), joint venture partners in the Al Sejeel Petrochemical Project, at Ras Laffan, Qatar, have selected technologies for the planned complex’s downstream units. The partners say they have signed technology licensing agreements with Univation Technologies for the complex’s polyethylene (PE) plants and with Dow Chemical for the polypropylene (PP) units.
