Chemical Week Magazine :: New Construction Projects Qatar Takes 25% Stake in Planned Petchems Complex in Vietnam7:24 AM MST | January 20, 2012 Qatar Petroleum International (QPI) will hold a 25% share in a previously announced $4-billion petrochemical project at Long Son, Vietnam, PetroVietnam (Hanoi) says. Other partners in the venture, in addition to PetroVietnam and QPI, are Vinachem (Hanoi), SCG Chemicals, and Thai Plastics and Chemicals. The partners plan to establish a joint venture to build the complex, Do Van Hau, CEO of PetroVietnam said after the recent signing of an investment agreement with QPI.
