Qapco Awards Ethylene Revamp Contract to Taiwan’s CTCI

Qatar Petrochemical Co. (Qapco; Doha) has signed a contract with CTCI Corp. (Taipei) covering a revamp of Qapco’s olefins complex at Mesaieed, Qatar. The first part of the contract, valued at QR604 million ($166 million), covers the revamp of Qapco’s plant and machinery, to conform with international safety and environmental standards, reduce waste, and enhance productivity.
