PolyMirae Eyes PP Expansion in Korea

PolyMirae (Yeosu, Korea) is studying plans to add polypropylene (PP) capacity at its Yeosu complex, CW has learned. The company is a 50-50 joint venture between Daelim Industrial (Seoul) and Basell. “We are exploring expansion opportunities, and will make a decision in the first half of this year,” Jong Hee Lee, director and plant manager at PolyMirae, tells CW.
