PhosAgro awards urea plant contract to Chemoproject Nitrogen

PhosAgro (Moscow), a leading fertilizer producer, has signed a contract with Chemoproject Nitrogen (Prague) for the design, engineering, and procurement of equipment for a 500,000-m.t./year granular urea production unit at the PhosAgro-Cherepovets subsidiary in Vologda Region, Russia. The urea unit will be the third at the PhosAgro-Cherepovets site and forms part of a comprehensive investment project that also includes a previously announced 760,000-m.t./year ammonia plant for start-up by 2017. Stamicarbon will provide its technology for the planned urea unit...
