Perstorp Plans HDI Derivatives Capacity in Singapore

Perstorp will expand capacity for hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI) derivatives by establishing production at the company’s Singapore site. The new capacity is expected to be onstream in 2012. “This decision is in line with the strategy announced last year to extend HDI derivative capacity and establish ourselves with production of 12,000 m.t./year in Asia,” says Martin Lundin, president and CEO of Perstorp.
