Oman details $3.6-billion investment in petchems at Sohar

Oman Oil Refineries and Petroleum Co. (Orpic; Muscat) plans to invest $3.6 billion to develop a petrochemicals complex near to a refinery at Sohar, Oman. The complex will provide raw materials for a planned plastics-based industry in Oman. The projects will require a combined investment of about $5 billion.
