Lotte Chemical to Build Large PET Plant in the U.K.

Lotte Chemical U.K., a subsidiary of the Honam (Seoul) group, will invest in excess of £60 million ($93.5 million) to build an additional polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottle resins plant at its Wilton, U.K. manufacturing site. The company has started early ground work and it will begin clearing the site soon. Completion of the plant is scheduled for the third or fourth quarter of 2013.
