Linde to build large joint-venture ammonia plant in Russia

Linde has formed an equally owned joint venture with chemical company KuibyshevAzot (Samara, Russia) to build and operate a large ammonia plant at the Togliatti site, in Russia’s Samara Region. The deal will involve a total investment of €275 million ($355.3 million). The jv will operate as Linde Nitrogen Togliatti. Linde’s engineering division will construct the plant, which will have capacity to produce 1,340 m.t./day.
