It will be the first source of helium in the southern hemisphere, Linde says. The plant will produce 750 m.t./year of high-purity liquid helium. Linde Kryotechnik (Pfungen, Switzerland), a Linde subsidiary, will build the plant adjacent to the liquefied natural gas (LNG) complex of Darwin LNG Ltd. (Darwin).
