Lenzing Builds Additional Tencel Fiber Plant in Austria

Lenzing says it is going ahead with previously announced plans to build a Tencel cellulose fiber plant at Lenzing, Austria, at a cost of €130 million ($163.7 million). The move follows the completion of an environmental impact assessment process. Construction work has commenced on the facility, which will manufacture 67,000 m.t./year of Tencel fiber.
