Chemical Week Magazine :: New Construction Projects L&T Gets Contract in Saudi Arabia1:38 PM MDT | October 22, 2007 | Chemical Week Editorial Staff Larsen & Toubro (L&T; Mumbai) says it has been awarded a $60-million contract by Methanol Chemicals Co. (Chemanol) to build methylamines and dimethyl formamide (DMF) plants at Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia. L&T’s scope of work comprises process design, detailed engineering, project management, and procurement of equipment and materials. L&T will also provide technical services to build and commission the plant. Davy Process Technology is providing its process for the 50,000 m.t./year methylamines and 60,000 m.t./year DMF units.
