Johnson Matthey and Davy Land Chinese Methanol Contract

Davy Process Technology (DPT) and Johnson Matthey Catalysts, a Johnson Matthey (JM) subsidiary, say they have been selected to provide technology, basic engineering design, and catalysts for a methanol plant in China. Qinghai Zhonghao Natural Gas Chemical will own and operate the 2,000-m.t./day plant at Geermu, China, which will use natural gas feedstock.
