Chemical Week Magazine :: New Construction Projects Jacobs Awarded Contract for Methanex Plant Relocation6:02 AM MST | February 17, 2012 Jacobs Engineering says it has received a contract from Methanex, the world’s leading supplier of methanol, to provide engineering services for a methanol project in Louisiana. Methanex announced in January 2012 that it plans to relocate a methanol plant from Chile to Geismar, LA (CW, Jan. 16/23, p. 13).
