Chemical Week Magazine :: New Construction Projects Jacobs Awarded Contract for Honeywell-Sinochem JV7:53 AM MST | December 16, 2011 Jacobs Engineering says it has been awarded a contract to provide engineering and procurement services for a previously announced hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) joint venture between Honeywell and Sinochem. The value of the contract was not disclosed. The 50-50 jv, to be located at Taicang, China will produce HFC-245fa, a non ozone-depleting rigid foam blowing agent used in insulation for appliances, construction, transportation, and other applications where maximum energy efficiency is required.
