Chemical Week Magazine :: New Construction Projects JGC-led consortium awarded refinery and petchem contract in Vietnam5:42 AM MST | January 25, 2013 A consortium comprising JGC; Chiyoda; Technip; and the Korean contractors GS Engineering & Construction, and SK Engineering & Construction has been awarded a contract for the previously announced Nghi Son refinery and petrochemical project in the Nghi Son economic zone, in northern Vietnam. Nghi Son Refinery & Petrochemical is a $9-billion joint venture planned by Idemitsu Kosan, Kuwait Petroleum International (KPI), PetroVietnam (Hanoi), and Mitsui Chemicals.
