ICL to invest in major expansion of polyhalite potash capacity in the UK

Israel Chemicals Ltd. (ICL; Tel Aviv) says that ICL Fertilizers’ Cleveland Potash Ltd. (CPL) subsidiary will expand polyhalite mining capacity at its Boulby mine, in the northeast of the United Kingdom. ICL markets under the polysulfate name. The announcement follows the UK government’s approval of a £4.9-million ($8.3 million) grant for the project.
