Chemical Week Magazine :: New Construction Projects German Firm Builds Biodiesel Unit12:10 PM MDT | July 30, 2007 | Chemical Week Editorial Staff Petrotec (Borken, Germany) says it has started building a 100,000-m.t./year biodiesel plant at Emden, Germany. The €15-million ($20 million) plant is due to be completed in the fourth quarter of this year, the company says. It will use yellow grease as its raw material. The Emden biodiesel unit will form part of a complex that also includes a facility for refining yellow grease, Petrotec says.
