Chemical Week Magazine :: New Construction Projects Evonik Builds Nylon-12 Plant in Asia, Hikes in Germany1:39 PM MST | January 5, 2012 | —NATASHA ALPEROWICZ Evonik Industries says it plans to build a 20,000-m.t./year nylon-12 plant in Asia and expand its existing capacity at Marl, Germany. The Evonik board has approved preliminary and basic planning for the Asian plant. That facility is expected to be online within three years, the company says. The Marl project will add 5,000 m.t./year of capacity with completion scheduled for next year.
