Evonik Awards Isophorone Plant Deal in China to WorleyParsons

Evonik Industries says it has awarded WorleyParsons a detailed engineering, procurement support, and construction management contract for a previously announced isophorone and isophorone diamine complex. The plants will be built at Evonik’s multi-user site at Caojing, near Shanghai, and they will be designed to produce a combined 50,000 m.t./year. Start-up is scheduled for the first quarter of 2014.
