EuroChem starts work on phosphate rock investment in Kazakhstan

EuroChem (Moscow), one of the world’s largest fertilizer companies, has announced the launch of construction work at a previously reported phosphate rock development project in Kazakhstan. The company’s Kazakhstan-based affiliate EuroChem Fertilizers is carrying out the large-scale development of the phosphate rock deposit. The initial production capacity will be approximately 640,000 m.t./year of phosphate ore, and production expected to be onstream in 2014.
