Chemical Week Magazine :: New Construction Projects ENI to Build Biofuels Unit Using Novel Technology11:24 AM MDT | August 7, 2007 | Chemical Week Editorial Staff ENI (Rome) says it will build a plant at Livorno, Italy to produce diesel fuel from vegetable oils. It will be the first unit to use Ecofining technology, a process developed by ENI and UOP, a Honeywell subsidiary. UOP has completed basic design for the Livorno plant, which will process 6,500 bbl/day of vegetable oils.
