Dwory Transfers Ethylbenzene Stake to PKN; Plans PBR Plant

Firma Chemiczna Dwory (Oswiecim, Poland) says it has transferred its stake in a planned ethylbenzene (EB) manufacturing joint venture to its partner, PKN Orlen (Plock, Poland), and will instead source EB and butadiene from PKN under a 15-year contract (CW, Feb. 7, p. 15). Dwory was expected to have a 49% stake in the jv, Etylobenzen Plock, and PKN was to have the rest.
