CB&I Awarded BASF Contract for Butadiene Construction

CB&I has been awarded a contract by BASF for the engineering, procurement, and construction management of BASF’s previously announced butadiene extraction plant at Antwerp. The contract is worth $50 million, and the plant is scheduled to be onstream in 2014. It will have a production capacity of 155,000 m.t./year and will use BASF technology.
